What will the weather be like in Colorado Springs today? | Weather

A strong storm system will bring colder, wetter weather around Colorado Springs and the Pikes Peak region as well as snow in the mountains this weekend.

Highs will rise to lows in the mid-70s on Thursday before the storm moves in Friday afternoon.

“Expect mostly cloudy skies and strong winds from the south this afternoon. There is a slight chance of isolated late showers,” said meteorologist Katie LaSalle of KOAA news partner Denver7. “Otherwise, skies will remain mostly cloudy and overnight lows will fall to over 40 degrees by morning.”

LaSalle forecasts cooler highs Friday in the lower to mid 60s, with a chance of rain late in the day.
