How the CSU and the Air Force fared

The Mountain West announced its preseason men's basketball all-conference teams and the league's projected finishing order on Thursday.

Colorado State fifth-year guard Nique Clifford was one of 10 players selected to the All-Conference team. Clifford, who played at Vanguard School in Colorado Springs and CU, averaged 12.2 points, 7.6 rebounds and 3.0 assists in 36 starts for the Rams last season.

CSU was picked to finish seventh among the conference's 11 teams this season, finishing in the same spot as last season. Air Force, which had no All-Mountain West players in the preseason, is projected to finish last in the league. Wyoming, which also does not have an all-conference selection, is projected to finish ninth.
