Ricky Pearsall is expected to be activated against the Chiefs; Injury report #KCvsSF

The San Francisco 49ers will welcome back wide receiver Ricky Pearsall (chest) in Week 7 against the Kansas City Chiefs. Pearsall, who was the victim of an armed robbery in late August, was on the non-football injury list earlier this year after suffering a gunshot wound in the incident. His practice window opened on Monday, and according to head coach Kyle Shanahan, the official roster change will take place on Saturday.

“The guys are excited (to have Ricky back),” Shanahan said. “He's been with the boys for a while now, so it's not like he hasn't been back and been there. He's had a hell of a week and we're really excited to get him out there.

As San Francisco prepares for Pearsall's return, they will also be without star wideout Jauan Jennings (hip), who was sidelined for three straight practices. Jennings was officially ruled out for Sunday's contest in the team's final injury report of the week. Luckily for the 49ers, this is the only big name missing from the offense this week. According to Shanahan, running back Jordan Mason (shoulder) is “fully active,” as is wide receiver Deebo Samuel Sr. (wrist), after spending most of the week with limited participation and in blue non-contact jerseys. Both players were upgraded to full participants in time for practice on Friday.
