Bridget Carleton represented Iowa State women's basketball well on Friday night.

With the Minnesota Lynx needing a win to stay alive in the 2024 WNBA Finals, the former Cyclone made several clutch plays in the fourth quarter to beat the New York Liberty – including the game-winning free throws.

Carleton finished the game with 12 points, four rebounds and a steal with two triples.

Her last rebound came with two seconds left and the game tied 80-80 when she caught an offensive board and was fouled before finally making the game-winning free throws.

Carleton also made a crucial 3-pointer with 3:14 left in the game, giving her team a 77-72 lead.

She has scored a total of 26 points in the last two games and continues to be a key starter for the Lynx.

The winner-take-all Game 5 will be played on Sunday at 7 p.m. and will be broadcast on ESPN.
