Chappell Roan looks unrecognizable in his cheap costume at Charli XCX and Troye Sivan's Sweat Tour

Chappell Roan looked almost unrecognizable as she attended Charli XCX and Troye Sivan's Sweat Tour stop in Los Angeles this week.

The 26-year-old Hot To Go hitmaker, who performed at Austin City Limits earlier this month, wore a long, jet-black wig as she joined thousands of other fans who watched the 360 singer take the stage at the Kia Forum.

Roan's creative director Ramisha Sattar posted a short snap of the star via Instagram Stories on Wednesday evening.

Chappell, who is known for her bright, clownish makeup and long auburn locks, was dressed more subdued for the evening on Wednesday.

She wore dark eyeliner and a muted color on her pout as she smiled happily and jaw dropped during the brief outtake.

Other well-known socialites in attendance at the show in Inglewood, California included Katy Perry, Lily-Rose Depp and her friend 070 Shake, as well as Sasha and Malia Obama.

Vanderpump Rules star Ariana Madix and singer Madison Beer were also among the participants.

Charli and Troye have been on the Sweat Tour since September 14th.

It started in Detroit and ends on Wednesday, October 23rd in Seattle.

Roan, née Kayleigh Rose Amstutz, has also been busy performing lately.

She returned to the stage in early October after abruptly canceling her appearance at the All Things Go festival out of concern for her “health.”

The singer announced to fans that she would not be performing at the late September shows, writing in an Instagram post: “I apologize to the people who were waiting to see me at All Things Go in NYC and DC this weekend “To see, but I can’t.”

“Things have become overwhelming over the last few weeks and I’m really feeling it.”

Since her meteoric rise to fame earlier this year, Chappell has been open about drawing boundaries when it comes to fame and her fandom.

On August 23, she disabled comments on an Instagram post that contained a lengthy statement shared via multiple screenshots.

She wrote, in part: “For the past ten years I have been working on my project non-stop and it has come to the point where I have to draw boundaries and set boundaries.”

Elsewhere in the note, she emphasized, “I chose this career path because I love music and art and honor my inner child. I do not accept harassment of any kind for choosing this path, nor do I deserve it.”
