LS Dune's second album 'Violet' to be released in January 2025: Full details

LS Dunes, the post-hardcore supergroup led by Circa Survive and Saosin frontman Anthony Green, will return with their second full-length album in early 2025. Violet, billboard can reveal exclusively. “Machines,” the album’s second track, will be unveiled tonight at midnight ET, following the release of “Fatal Deluxe” in September.

The new album, which will be released on January 31, 2025 on Fantasy Records, follows the successful debut LP from 2022. Past lives. Green formed LS Dunes along with Coheed and Cambria guitarist Travis Stever, My Chemical Romance guitarist Frank Iero, bassist Tim Payne and Thursday drummer Tucker Rule.

“As an album, Violet encapsulates everything we’ve tried to achieve as a band since our inception,” Payne said in a statement billboard. “This is intended to give all of us as individual musicians a safe space to explore music in ways we haven’t had the opportunity to before.”

After debuting at Riot Fest in 2022, the supergroup toured extensively in support of Past lives before we regroup in the studio. “As we've gotten to know each other much better as artists,” Payne continued, “we've been able to continue to push each other's creative boundaries, but this time with a concerted effort to put the songs above everything else.” This has helped create a creating a very cohesive sound while staying true to our own stylistic choices.”

LS Dunes will head to Las Vegas this weekend for the When We Were Young Festival and then tour North America through November 22nd. Violet can be pre-ordered here.
