Road closures and bus schedule changes are planned for MU's homecoming

The Traffic and Go COMO bus routes will be impacted by the University of Missouri homecoming events on Friday and Saturday.

Streets around Greektown will be closed to pedestrians only Friday night for a pedestrian-only event, and Saturday morning's homecoming parade will cause delays along the parade route.

Go COMO bus service starts at 12:00 p.m. Special routes are available for the football game against Auburn, which begins at 11 a.m

Israel says Hamas leader Yahya Sinwar has been killed in Gaza

Hamas leader Yahya Sinwar was killed by Israeli forces in the Gaza Strip on Thursday, the Israeli military said.

Israel considers Sinwar to be the main architect of the cross-border massacre.

In a recorded video message on Thursday, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said Sinwar's death was “the beginning of the day after Hamas” but “the task ahead is not yet complete.”

Hamas has not yet commented on reports of its leader's death.

Housing study shows lack of affordable housing in Boone County

A new housing study from the City of Columbia and Boone County shows a significant shortage of affordable housing, particularly for low-income families, young adults and first-time homebuyers.
