New Orleans Saints star Alvin Kamara firmly denied rumors that he was looking for a way out of the Big Easy in a series of tirades on social media on Saturday.

The wide receiver took to social media over the weekend to hit back at online claims that he requested a trade from New Orleans following the Saints' 33-10 loss in Week 7 to the Denver Broncos

The 29-year-old branded a report “false” as he responded to a now-deleted post claiming he had “officially requested a trade.”

The veteran's tirade against the rumors continued in another tweet in which he called them a lie and suggested he was on his way to Tennessee to watch his alma mater play in an important SEC matchup on Saturday against Alabama competes.

Kamara later reiterated that he would remain in New Orleans and warned fans not to believe any trade rumors unless the information came from himself.

“If there's any news I'll report this shit from my couch…or I'll call my brother @Cantguardmike and let him break the news ❤️ otherwise we got upset,” he wrote, referring to free agent Michael Thomas .

The trade speculation arose after Kamara suffered his worst game of the season in Thursday night's loss to the Broncos.

The wideout rushed for just 10 yards on seven carries and caught six passes for 14 yards in the Saints' home loss.

Kamara, like the entire Saints team, had a spectacular start to the season: He rushed for 362 yards and five touchdowns in the first four games and caught 17 passes for 174 yards and a score.

The stellar start was highlighted by a massive 180 total yards and four touchdowns in a 44-19 win over the Dallas Cowboys in Week 2.

However, his production took a significant hit over the last three weeks, as Kamara managed just 76 rushing yards and one touchdown on 31 carries, along with 17 receptions for 78 yards.

The Saints had an explosive start to the season under new offensive coordinator Klint Kubiak, going 2-0 in the first two weeks.

However, they have now slipped to five games and have averaged just 17.3 over the past five weeks with veteran quarterback Derek Carr sidelined due to injury.

The Saints rewarded Kamara with a five-year, $75 million contract in 2020 that expires at the end of the 2025 season.
