Keith Urban is highly regarded by Peter Frampton: “Wonderful guitarist, singer and songwriter”

Own country music Keith Urban will perform on stage with the 2024 inductee at the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame induction ceremony on Saturday Peter Frampton.

Perhaps unbeknownst to some, Keith and the “Baby, I Love Your Way” singer have a friendship that dates back to Keith's pre-superstardom days.

“I met (Keith) very early on when I first moved here in the mid-90s. So that was before he had success. And apparently I don’t remember it, but he told me that we wrote something together,” the English rock star says with a laugh.

“I've known him for so long and he's such a sweet, sweet guy and a great artist and he's so successful. “I’m so happy for him,” Peter tells ABC Audio. “So, wonderful guitarist, singer and songwriter.”

Other country stars chosen to perform their tributes include: Jellyroll And Kenny Chesney.

The 2024 Induction Ceremony, held at Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse in Cleveland, will stream live on Disney+ on Saturday at 7:00 p.m. ET. ABC will air the special on January 1st 2024 Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Induction Ceremonywith performance highlights.
