Donald Trump talks about “All Man” Arnold Palmer and his “greatness” during his speech at the Pennsylvania rally.

While appearing at a rally in Pennsylvania this evening, Donald Trump got caught up in a story about Arnold Palmer that included comments about the size of the late golfer's genitals.

The moment came a little too late in the day to be parodied on tonight's “Saturday Night Live,” but it stood out in social media coverage of the event in Latrobe, Pa., which took place in the city Palmer is home to was born, out.

“Arnold Palmer was a pure man, and I say that with all due respect to women. And I love women. But this is a guy who was completely a man.”

“This man was strong and tough, but I refuse to say it, but when he showered with the other pros, they came out of there. They said, 'Oh my God.' This is incredible.' I had to say it. We have women here who are very demanding.”

The Trump campaign had signaled that the speech would preview Trump's closing arguments. The former president's off-script comments are typical features of his rallies, but some of his recent events have had bizarre moments. Last week, after two medical emergencies in the audience at a town hall event, Trump instead switched formats and listened to recorded versions of Hail Mary three times and other songs on his campaign playlist. He stood on stage and swayed to the music that played for nearly 40 minutes.

The focus on penis size also came up during a Republican primary debate in 2016 when Marco Rubio, then one of Trump's rivals, commented on his “small hands.” “You know what they say about men with small hands,” Rubio said.

Palmer, one of the greatest golfers of all time, died in 2016.

Kamala Harris fought with Lizzo at a rally in Detroit and later traveled to Atlanta for an event where Usher was one of the speakers.
