Jennifer Lawrence is pregnant and expecting baby No. 2 with husband Cooke Maroney

Jennifer Lawrence and her husband, Cooke MaroneyThey are expanding their family as the actress is pregnant with baby number 2. Us weekly can confirm that.

The 34-year-old actress showed off her baby bump while out to dinner in Los Angeles on Saturday, October 19th. fashion was the first to announce the news.

Lawrence and Maroney, 40, have been married since 2019 and are already parents to son Cy, 2.

Us previously confirmed they were thinking about baby #2.

“They are thinking about having another child,” a source said Us in June 2023. “At first they weren't sure if they wanted another one because it's so much work, but they are obsessed with Cy and love showing videos to their friends and family. They have begun to prepare for the possibility of a second.”

Lawrence and Maroney, an art gallery owner, rarely spoke to Cy about their family life. The Hunger Games Star previously revealed she faced “mom guilt” over balancing work commitments and parenthood.

“Every day that I'm a mother I feel terrible,” Lawrence said an “Actors on Actors” interview from June 2022 for Diversity. “I feel guilty. I play with him and ask myself, 'Is this what he wants to do? Should we be outside?' We're outside (and I'm wondering), “What if he's cold?” What if he gets sick? Should we be inside? Is that enough? Is your brain developing enough as a result?'”

The Oscar winner later admitted that starting a family was “the scariest thing in the world.”

Lawrence and Maroney named their eldest after the painter Cy Twombly, and when he was born they felt their hearts grow.

“My heart has reached a capacity I didn’t know about. I include my husband in this. And then they're both just out there – running around and crossing streets,” Lawrence previously said fashion in October 2022. “He will drive one day. He will be a stupid teenager and drive a car. And I'll just say, “Good night!” You know? Who is sleeping?

She added: “The morning after I was born I felt like my whole life had started over. So now it's the first day of my life. I just stared. I was just so in love. I also fell in love with all the babies everywhere. Newborns are just so amazing. They’re these pink, swollen, fragile little survivors.”
