Key moments from the Tennessee Titans in their loss to the Buffalo Bills

The Tennessee Titans' fast start was derailed by an abysmal second-half performance in Sunday's 34-10 loss to the Buffalo Bills at Highmark Stadium.

Tennessee scored the first 10 points of the game, with Mason Rudolph making good decisions and keeping the Titans' offense on schedule. But the Bills scored the next 34 points, including all five possessions in the second half.

Tony Pollard had 65 rushing yards on 11 carries in the first half, but lost yards on a total of four carries in the second half.

Tennessee is 1-5 for the first time since 2015. Here are the three key moments in the Titans' loss on Sunday:

INSTANT SUMMARY: New quarterback, same result as the Mason Rudolph-led Tennessee Titans, who made a mistake in the loss to the Bills

Scenario: Titans 10, Bills 0 with 11:31 left in the first half after the Westbrook-Ikhine touchdown catch

The Titans' offense started very well, with the offensive line advancing the Bills' front seven in a second-quarter scoring drive capped by Mason Rudolph's 3-yard touchdown pass to Nick Westbrook-Ikhine on third-and-goal .

Rudolph and playcaller Brian Callahan were in top form in the first half, with the former Steelers QB throwing for 155 yards in the first half of his first Titans start. It wouldn't last.

Scenario: After a TD by Amari Cooper, the Bills took a 14-10 lead with 10:23 left in the third quarter

On the first drive of the second half, the Titans rallied for two runs by Tony Pollard on 3rd-and-1 (losing one yard) and 4th-and-2 (losing three yards), with no success in their own territory. Six plays later, Josh Allen found Amari Cooper in the back of the end zone for a 12-yard touchdown pass.

Tennessee's combination of poor play-calling and poor game management changed the atmosphere at Orchard Park. The Bills took the lead and never looked back, while the Titans' excellent start was dashed just five minutes into the second half.

Scenario: Bills 24, Titans 10 with 14:54 remaining in the game after Kincaid's catch, Ty Johnson TD

Tennessee's defense allowed 90 total yards in the first half and much more in the second half as Josh Allen and the Bills' offense picked up steam. A third-down catch by Dalton Kincaid after a pretty ball by Allen set up first and goal, and Allen found Ty Johnson for the 4-yard touchdown pass and a two-score lead for the Bills.

The Bills had scored their last 24 points at that point, and Tennessee's offense, stuck in neutral, had little chance of erasing that deficit.
