The Cleveland Browns star lashes out at fans for booing Deshaun Watson

Cleveland Browns quarterback Deshaun Watson suffered a brutal ruptured Achilles tendon this afternoon. It's an injury that will end Watson's season.

When the injury occurred, there were fans in the stadium who began booing Watson. This move did not go over well with the Browns players, and rightly so.

After the game, Garrett spoke out and railed against the fans for booing Watson after the injury. He didn't hold back his thoughts and it's clear how angry the superstar pass rusher was.

Watson was also booed as he ran onto the field before the game.

Fans have been frustrated with the way the team has played this season. This frustration is also understandable. After tonight's loss to the Cincinnati Bengals, Cleveland fell to 1-6 this season.

As of now, the Browns are on track to compete for the No. 1 overall pick in the 2025 NFL Draft.

Looking ahead to the rest of the season, Cleveland will have to choose between Dorian Thompson-Robinson and Jameis Winston. Thompson-Robinson also suffered an injury during the game, but there is no information on how serious this injury will be.

Although Watson struggled again this season, the way he was treated by fans was unfair. It's acceptable to be upset and even angry about your play, but booing someone after an injury is completely unacceptable.

Garrett is 100 percent right that fans should be ashamed.

Next up for the Browns is a home game against the Baltimore Ravens. Given the team's recent developments, it wouldn't be shocking if Cleveland considered making additional trades before the NFL trade deadline on November 5th.
