At least one person admitted that they “did it in three days.”

Another viewer called the ending “suspicious,” while another dismissed it entirely.

“I like The Lincoln Lawyer on Netflix. “I absolutely hated the ending of season 3, it felt like an overused, tired storyline and now I don't know if I can watch season 4,” the user wrote.

On Reddit, users said The finale left them confused with “so many questions” while others insisted the final scene was lackluster.

“I thought the cliffhanger was lazy,” one viewer wrote.

Fans' opinions did not stop critics from praising the show.

A Decider critic wrote, “The Lincoln Lawyer is always about the personal, and in Season 3 Mickey Haller appears to be embroiled in another case that blurs the line between the terms 'professional conduct' and 'conflict of interest.'

“If you were a fan of the first two seasons of The Lincoln Lawyer, you will love this season,” wrote a reviewer for FandomWire.

“The authors have taken the best parts of Michael Connelly's books and brought them to the screen to create a courtroom drama worth watching.”
