Baltimore Ravens star CB suffers knee injury

Baltimore Ravens cornerback Marlon Humphrey had a memorable first half against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in their Week 7 game at Raymond James Stadium.

Unfortunately, he also suffered an injury that forced him into the locker room before halftime.

After throwing his second of two interceptions against Bucs quarterback Baker Mayfield, Humphrey suffered an injury and went to the medical tent on the sideline. The Ravens announced that his return is questionable.

“Well it was huge, I mean those were our two stops so the turnovers are big,” Ravens head coach John Harbaugh said. “I want to stop them a little bit before they get near the red zone this time in the second half.”

Humphrey finished the first half with two total tackles and two picks. He now has four interceptions this season and 17 in his career.

Humphrey was listed as questionable before the Week 6 win over the Washington Commanders due to an ankle injury, but ended up playing.

Humphrey, a first-round pick by Baltimore in the 2017 NFL Draft out of Alabama, has been a symbol of consistency for the Ravens in his eight years with the team, and they will certainly need him to secure a victory over Tampa Bay.
