Christian Pulisic scores “Olimpico” goal for AC Milan in the UCL

Christian Pulisic continued his sensational start to the season on Tuesday, scoring from a corner in AC Milan's UEFA Champions League game against Belgian Club Brugge.

The United States star opened the scoring in the 34th minute at the San Siro, sending a corner kick in from the left that fooled the goalkeeper and defender and somehow missed everyone before going behind in a desperate attempt to clear on the goal line , bounced into the net.

The strike was the first 'Olimpico' goal of Pulisic's career and led to him contributing 10 goals in his last 10 games for club and country. It was also the 26-year-old's second goal in three Champions League games this season, having scored in Milan's opening defeat to Liverpool last month.

In Serie A this season, Pulisic has scored five goals and contributed three assists in eight games. He also provided an assist in Mauricio Pochettino's first game as USMNT coach, against Panama earlier this month.

Just six minutes after Pulisic's goal, Brugge were reduced to ten men when Raphael Onyedika was shown a red card.
