Nicole Kidman's Babygirl co-star details filming sex scenes

Nicole Kidman was anything but a complete stranger on set Baby girlsaid her co-star Harris Dickinson.

“The intimacy coordinator asks, 'What are you comfortable with, what do you want as a director, what do you want to execute from that vision?'” he explained. “They enable that and do it very carefully without interrupting the actual scene.”

“The nature of this film was that it was either completely vulnerable and exposed, or you were protected and then the thing had no connection,” she noted diversity. “When I met with Halina and we talked about it, I was like, 'Just give us a safe space,' and then, 'Please don't make me look like an idiot.'”

But it wasn't Nicole's first experience with an erotic thriller. She already worked with the director in 1999 Stanley Kubrick To Eyes wide closedin which Nicole's then husband starred Tom Cruise.

“There is something special about being a woman in this equation,” she told the Los Angeles Times in July. “And Stanley liked women. He had a different relationship with Tom. They worked more closely together on his character.”
