MLB fans upset Yankees' Aaron Judge over brutal start to World Series

The New York Yankees have their backs against the wall, trailing the Los Angeles Dodgers 2-0 in the 2024 World Series.

And to make matters worse for the Bronx Bombers, their best player has yet to appear in the Fall Classic.

Judge went a putrid 1-for-9 in the first two games of the best-of-seven series at Dodger Stadium. The American League MVP favorite struck out three times in both of New York's losses to Los Angeles, extending his streak of games with multiple punchouts to five.

It wasn't surprising that baseball fans took Judge to task after his postseason woes continued Saturday night. You can find a lot of social media jokes at the judge's expense by clicking the link here.

The strong criticism was justified. Judge hasn't offered much at all for the Yankees since the calendar turned to October, as he had a .150 batting average with 19 (!) strikeouts in 11 games. The six-time All-Star also recorded just three extra-base hits during that span, a troubling number for a player whose regular-season slugging percentage led all of baseball at .701.

Maybe a more comfortable environment will help Judge break out of his panic. Aaron Boone's team will be back at Yankee Stadium on Monday when they host the Dodgers for Game 3.
