Accepted proposals for International Education Week 2024; Submissions are possible until October 23rd

International Education Week, a joint initiative of the U.S. Department of Education and the U.S. Department of State The event celebrating international education will take place November 18-22. Each year, universities across the United States celebrate IEW with programs and events that highlight the importance of international education and exchange.

At Vanderbilt, International Student and Scholar Services facilitates International Education Week, which traditionally includes a variety of events. Examples of past IEW events include:

• Foreign film screenings
• International game evenings
• Language fairs and tables
• Panel discussions on global issues
• Information events about studying abroad

The event type is flexible, but each event should be related to international education, international/cultural exchange and/or living in a global environment. Suggestions from student organizations are particularly welcome.

Are you interested in submitting a proposal? Please fill in this form no later than October 23rd to be considered for this year's International Education Week calendar. IEW 2024 will take place from November 18th to 22nd, but events that take place the week before will also be taken into account in the events calendar.
