According to the report, Epic Universe could “fully open” as early as Memorial Day weekend

ORLANDO, Fla. – While Universal Epic Universe is speculated to open in summer 2025, it appears Universal Orlando's fourth theme park could open ahead of the crucial travel season.

According to a Wall Street Journal report, Universal Orlando plans to have Epic Universe “fully open as early as Memorial Day weekend next year,” citing sources familiar with the matter.

What can happen even earlier? The report also states that ticket sales could begin this month.

In July, News 6 reported that Universal would likely only introduce multi-day ticket packages for Epic Universe and not single-day ticket options during the opening period. The decision is intended to address overcrowding and ticket packages would include entry to Orlando's other parks.

Ticket prices of any kind for Epic Universe have not yet been announced.

When Epic Universe opens, it will be the largest Universal Park in the United States. It will feature over 50 attractions with groundbreaking technology in five different worlds connected by mystical portals.

For the first time, Universal guests will have direct access to a theme park, with the Universal Helios Grand Hotel offering direct access to the Epic Universe.

There are two other Epic Universe hotels just south of the theme park. The Universal Stella Nova and Terra Luna Resorts are scheduled to open in early 2025 and bookings are available now.

Universal Orlando has not announced an opening date for Epic Universe. News 6 has reached out to us for comment.
