After a cool and cloudy Sunday, it will be more than 20 degrees warmer on Monday

Today’s forecast:
This morning's cool temperatures and patches of fog will give way to a sunny and noticeably warmer afternoon. Our highs today are expected to be more than 20 degrees warmer than Sunday! We expect a few clouds by the evening as a cold front approaches from the north.

Weather forecast for Colorado Springs: High: 77; Low: 49. The fog patches covering parts of El Paso County this morning will give way to quite a bit of sunshine this afternoon, leading to a sharp rise in temperatures to over -6 degrees Celsius starting Sunday.

Pueblo Forecast: High: 82; Low: 49. After a high of just 60 degrees on Sunday, we will see sunshine and temperatures in the low 80s again today before becoming increasingly cloudy tonight.

Weather forecast for Canon City: High: 79; Low: 51. Canon City is set for a beautiful first day of fall, with cool temperatures giving way to sunny highs of over 75 degrees this morning.

Weather forecast for Woodland Park: High: 68; Low: 37. Near-freezing temperatures this morning will give way to a mostly sunny and mild afternoon, while highs today will rise above 60 degrees.

Tri-Lakes Forecast: High: 70s; Low: 40s. The cool temperatures this morning will give way to a bright and mild afternoon, with increasing cloud cover expected in the evening.

Weather forecast for the plains: High: 70s/80s; Low: 40s/50s. Bright skies, warm highs and light winds on Monday will give way to a windier and slightly cooler day on Tuesday.

Weather forecast for Walsenburg and Trinidad: High: 70s; Low: 40s/50s. We are looking forward to a beautiful start to the week with bright skies and almost average high temperatures, which will be above 70 degrees today.

Mountain forecast: High: 50s/60s; Low: 30s. Bright sunshine and mild highs this afternoon make for a great day to explore the outdoors, take a hike in the mountains, or check out the leaves.

Extended outlook:
An early morning cold front on Tuesday will bring gusty north winds to Pikes Peak and slightly cooler high temperatures. Peak gusts up to 25 mph will be possible early in the day. Our high temperature on Tuesday will warm to the mid 70s, which is close to average for this time of year.

Temperatures above 25 degrees and sunshine will return to Colorado Springs on Wednesday, followed by temperatures around 27 degrees later this week.
