All 32 QBs, sorted by total QBR prior to Week 7

Denver Broncos rookie quarterback Bo Nix posted an overall QBR rating of 56.2 in a 23-16 loss to the Los Angeles Chargers last week, raising his season-long overall QBR average 44.0.

That's a slight improvement from last week's rating (43.1), but Nix has fallen from 25th in the NFL to 28th as other QBs improved their ratings in Week 6.

Nix's traditional passer rating this season is 73.7, ranking him 30th.

Unlike a traditional passer rating, overall QBR, according to ESPN, includes “all of a quarterback's contributions to victory, including how he influences the game through passes, rushes, turnovers and penalties.”

The metric takes into account scenarios that are left out of a traditional passer rating and considers “a team's degree of success or failure on each play to provide proper context, then assigns credit to the quarterback and his teammate to provide a clearer picture “To provide a measure of the quarterback’s efficiency.”
