Hurst police are searching for a missing teenager who may be in grave or imminent danger.

A local Amber Alert was issued for 16-year-old Zoe Rowbotham Tuesday afternoon.

Hurst police said she was last seen near the intersection of Bluebonnet Drive and Arwine Drive in Hurst on Sunday around 8:30 p.m.

Rowbotham is described as a white female, approximately 5 feet 10 inches tall and weighing approximately 240 pounds. She has brown hair and hazel eyes.

She wore a black shirt with white lettering, black shorts and white shoes.

It is believed she was traveling on foot.

Police confirmed Rowbotham had run away from home. They believe she is a high-risk missing person because they say she is mentally impaired and requires medication.
