Are Ashley and Tyler from Love Is Blind still together now?

For most of Season 7, Tyler Francis and Ashley Adionser seemed to be one of the most drama-free and wholesome couples in Love Is Blind history.

Then Tyler broke shocking news to his fiancée just two weeks before they were set to walk down the aisle.

Tyler revealed that he had previously fathered three children as a sperm donor, leaving Ashley to decide whether she could continue their relationship.

What Tyler and Ashley said about their relationship in an interview with TODAY.com

The spark flew when Ashley, a 32-year-old marketing executive, and Tyler, a 34-year-old account executive, started chatting in the dating pods.

Through their commitment to spirituality and their love of food (and Tyler's willingness to do his part in the cooking), the two quickly bonded. Tyler described Ashley as a 12 out of 10 while speaking to his male castmates. She called him a rare “unicorn.”

“Ashley was my first date and there was a sense of security that I felt from her that I had never felt before,” Tyler told TODAY.com in an interview.

Ashley explained why she had confidence in her relationship with Tyler from the start.

“I think this time I was just willing to take a risk and lead with emotion rather than logic, which is not naturally the case for me. And honestly, it's weird because when you date in a group it doesn't feel like a crush. You feel deeply, madly in love in an insanely long time,” she told TODAY.com.

Ashley said she thought she was “crazy” at one point and asked, “How does this happen?”

“Because I was a little skeptical. But I just felt true to myself. I felt loyal to him. I felt like he was someone I would like to get engaged to,” she said.

When asked why he was sure his relationship with Ashley would work out, Tyler responded as follows.

“It was just a feeling I've never felt before in my life. From day one it was Ashley. It was a feeling I constantly felt with her. It was just safe. It was warm. “It felt like the greatest love I’ve ever experienced,” he said.

How did they treat Tyler's children?

The couple seemed destined to say “I do” as they moved in together and their relationship went smoothly. Tyler received the seal of approval from Ashley's father, who gave him his blessing to marry his daughter.

However, things got difficult when Tyler revealed that he was a father of three children.

In the dating pods, Tyler revealed that he wanted a big family. Throughout the experiment, the couple seemed to agree on their desire to have children and when to start a family.

Then, in Episode 9, Ashley learned that Tyler was already a father. Tyler said he fathered three children as a sperm donor for a friend but was not actively involved in their lives.

To her surprise, Ashley had mixed feelings.

“I just can't deal with this without even thinking about your past. We talked about children every day. It's not yours childChildren. But they are your children and they are with someone you know,” she said.

“It doesn’t bother me that you want to help a couple have children,” she said. “I think that’s admirable in a way. But the problem comes from feeling like I'm not getting the full picture of you, and when you don't get the full picture of something, it's hard not to question everything. Having been a single woman before, coming into this scenario and falling in love with a man who has three sperm donor babies and the wedding is in about two weeks is a lot to process.”

Tyler patiently listened to his fiancé's opinion and then spoke.

“I don’t ask for forgiveness. I'm just asking for a chance. “I would like to marry you,” he said.

After taking some time to think, Ashley decided she was ready to move forward with their relationship.

“I feel like I want you in my life no matter what. It's not what I set out to do, but I feel like it's worth the reward, which is you,” she told Tyler.

Bri Thomas, the mother of Tyler's children, shared conflicting details in a series of five videos she posted to Instagram on October 20.

Thomas confirmed that Tyler had offered to help her and her ex-wife conceive a child. When the couple separated, Tyler offered to help raise their son, according to Thomas.

The other two children, who are twins, were later conceived through “natural, unplanned sexual intercourse without parentage complexity,” she said.

While Thomas said she never “dated” Tyler, she said they “raised their three children together” before he began filming “Love Is Blind.”

Thomas said she and Tyler are currently involved in a custody case.

TODAY.com obtained a Baltimore court file detailing a January 2024 custody case between Thomas and Tyler. The case was first filed in 2021 and was later reopened with a contempt petition.

Did Ashley and Tyler get married in the Love Is Blind finale?

On their wedding day, Tyler reflected on his love for Ashley in a confessional interview, calling her “my best friend” and “soulmate.”

“She’s a great person in general. For me she is the most beautiful person in the world. (I) can't wait to spend the rest of my life with her. Ashley is everything,” he said.

While getting her hair and makeup done, Ashley described her bond with Tyler to her friends.

“I like that I found someone who loves as much as I do. I feel safe. The physical protection is cool, but I feel emotionally protected, which is the most vulnerable part of me that I don't share with everyone,” she said.

When the moment of truth came, the couple exchanged romantic vows. Tyler was the first to say yes, followed by Ashley.

At their reception, the couple answered the looming question: Is love really blind?

“Love is blind. Love is blind to me, I'll say it again. I have my person and my best friend,” Tyler said.

“I wouldn't have found love like this if I hadn't done this experiment and seen someone for who they are on the inside,” Ashley noted.
