Murtazaliev vs. Tszyu is scheduled to take place over a 12-round fight. Murtazaliev, a 31-year-old Russian veteran, is undefeated in his professional career after winning the IBF belt with an 11th-round knockout of Jack Culcay in April. The 29-year-old Tszyu is looking to bounce back after suffering his first professional defeat in a bloody fight against Sebastian Fundora last March.

  • Tszyu vs. Murtazaliev – Round 3

    The ring doctor is called before the start of the third round to take a look at Tszyu, he allows the fight to continue. Tszyu dropped again midway with a left hook! He was told that if he was knocked down again the fight would be stopped. Just seconds later, Murtazaliev Tszyu shakes his right hand. Tszyu is stuck on the ropes, and in a bad way. This is over! The Tszyu corner has thrown in the towel.

  • Tszyu vs. Murtazaliev – Round 2

    Both men exchange right hands in the first 30 seconds. A HUGE LEFT HOOK from Murtazaliev drops Tszyu in the first minute! Tszyu fights fire with fire, but gets caught again with the left hand – and Tszyu is BACK DOWN! Tszyu wobbled in the last 30 seconds and couldn't hold on, still throwing back. Murtazaliev puts him down again! Tsyzu is on shaky ground. This is about to be canceled.

    Battle of the jabs in the first two minutes of the first round. Tszyu puts pressure on Murtazaliev, who uses a lot of lateral movement. Murtzaliev with a right hand in the last 40 seconds.

    Gonazlez TOUCHES THE CANVAS AGAIN as Tellez connects with a left hook! Gonzalez gets up from the floor, but just seconds later falls BACK TO THE floor with a right hand! And this is over! Fantastic performance from Tellez after a slow start.

    Gonzalez fell in the final minute of the sixth round when Tellez landed the right hand he had been looking for all fight. Tellez backed him up early and opened with a diverse arsenal of punches, Gonzalez was thrown off balance with a left hook early in the round.

  • Tellez vs. Gonzalez – Round 5

    Tellez is only throwing powerful punches at this point in the fight, both to the head and to the body. Gonzalez still put pressure on him, but wasn't as effective as he had been in the first two rounds.

    Big lap for Yoenis Tellez, who really accelerates in the fourth round. In this case, the tide has turned as Tellez is now pushing Gonzalez back, doubling down with the left hand and aiming the left hook to the body. Tellez scores with a strong right hand after two minutes, the best strike of any fighter in the fight.

    More power from Tellez in round 3 as Gonzalez sticks out his tongue after being caught with a powerful punch in the first half of the round. Gonzalez tries to cut off the ring and push Tellez into the ropes.

  • Tellez vs. Gonzalez – Round 2

    Gonzalez is once again the busier fighter there. Tellez is focused on finding the perfect shot because he knows he can change this fight with one punch. Gonzalez wins the round due to activity.

  • Tellez vs. Gonzalez – Round 1

    Gonzalez starts the fight on the front foot and drives the action. Tellez boxes with his back foot and looks for single-punch counters with his left hand. Gonzalez has a busier opening attack, throwing a few 1-2 hook combinations. Tellez switches to Orthodox for the final 30 seconds to practice the jab.

    Cesar Mateo Tapia and Endry Saavedra fight for a draw in the majority decision (94-92 Tapia, 93-93, 93-93).

  • Tapia vs Saavedra – Round 10

    Tapia and Saavedra fight hard until the last bell. Tapia starts the round better, connecting with a straight right hand and a right uppercut in the first minute. However, Saavedra takes the lead in the final minute, increasing the pressure and hitting the body. Tremendous action throughout, a contender for fight of the year in Orlando.

  • Tapia vs Saavedra – Round 9

    Tapia went back down 1:15 on lap 9! Not a clear blow, but a prolonged attack forces Tapia to kneel. The body attack worked really well for Saavedra in this fight, and it looks like a stronger finish from him could make the difference in this fight.

  • Tapia vs Saavedra – Round 8

    Saavedra bullies Tapia inside. Good body attack and close range combinations, his best round in the fight since being knocked down. Saavedra appears to momentarily rock Tapia at the end of the eighth round. It's clear whose shots are harder at this point in the fight.

  • Tapia vs Saavedra – Round 7

    Tapia landed right hands to the body several times in round 7. Saavedra countered with an overhand right hand. A lot of resistance in the seventh round, Tapia didn't let Saavedra work from the inside. Strong backhand from Tapia in the last 20 seconds immediately after a body attack from Saavedra. And Tapia ends the round with more body work.

    Tapia continues to have success with the straight right hand. Both men now have damage to the right eye area. Tapia caught Saavedra in the last minute, the best connection of the sixth round.

    SAAVEDRA goes down in the last 15 seconds of Round 5! A brilliant right hand from Tapia landed flush on the chin of Saavedra. Both men are now down in the first five rounds. What a brilliant fight it will be.

  • Tapia vs Saavedra – Round 4

    Tapia appears to have recovered well from the knockdown in Round 3. Saavedra has his best success when Tapia is on the ropes or holding his feet. Tapia said in the corner he had to use his feet and box Saavedra.
