Maya Henry takes legal action against ex-fiancé, Liam Payne.

The 23-year-old influencer ordered lawyers to send a cease-and-desist letter to the former One Direction star after she accused him of repeatedly contacting her Daily Mail.

And not only that, but also Maya, the daughter of a personal injury lawyer Thomas J HenryShe has also reportedly accused her ex of obsessively contacting her friends and family – including her mother. Aztec Henry.

“Maya Henry issued a cease and desist letter to Liam Payne last week after new and concerning information emerged,” lawyers said Daily mail online on Monday, October 14th. “She hired lawyers Marco Crawford And Daniel Cerna to represent them. This is their only comment on the matter at this time.”

Earlier this month, Maya took to TikTok and accused the singer of harassing her and her family, while also revealing some of his toxic behavior while they were together.

“Since we broke up, he's been messaging me, destroying my phone… always from different phone numbers,” Maya claimed in the video. “He will create new iCloud accounts to message me.”

She also said that Liam sent her emails and even contacted her mother. “He’s the one who does weird things all the time,” she added. “He says he takes advantage of One Direction fans because they always stay loyal to him and don't betray him.”

ICYMI, Maya and Liam first met at a One Direction meet-and-greet when she was 15 years old. They were romantically linked for the first time in 2018 and made their relationship public in 2019. They had an on-and-off relationship, with Liam proposing to her in 2020, until they finally split in April 2022.

In May 2024, she wrote a book titled I'm looking forward towhich is said to be inspired by her relationship with the former 1D singer.

“Obviously the book is fiction,” Maya said People magazine At the time, but I said it was “definitely inspired by true events… (The main character) Mallory is very similar to me, and so it was very easy for me to write her character and bring the emotions into it. I’m just grateful to have this opportunity and platform to really help be a voice for women.”
