Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez, who tied the knot in 2022, have not signed a prenup and now want “a resolution.” Without a prenuptial agreement in place, their shared assets, including a luxurious mansion and a production company, have become points of contention.

The couple's $60 million home, which they listed for $68 million, is a key asset in the divorce. Affleck's production company Artists Equity, which he founded with Matt Damon two years ago, is also at stake. Lopez, who has a stake in the company, is reportedly concerned about her financial contributions to the shared assets. “She spent most of the money on her huge mansion and paid for many of the renovations. She wants to get her investment back,” said a source InTouch weekly.

“He (Affleck) does not believe that Jennifer is entitled to a share in any future Artists Equity projects. “They just want a solution soon,” the insider explained.

JLo officially filed for divorce in August. According to sources, “Ben didn't care.” Affleck, whose struggles with his own “darkness” contributed to the relationship's breakdown, is now focused on remaining civil with Lopez to avoid further complications in the divorce process. “Since there is no prenuptial agreement, the divorce and how smoothly it goes will depend on them being nice,” another insider shared. “That means Ben has no choice but to try to be as civil as possible with J.Lo.”

“If he doesn’t behave the way she wants, she’ll put in her fangs and make things worse,” noted a source close to the couple. Affleck, who is known for his frustration at feeling “controlled” during their relationship, now finds himself in a difficult position.
