Boston police are searching for four young men suspected of being involved in an assault that left one man “seriously injured” near Faneuil Hall

Boston police are asking for help identifying four young men suspected of involvement in the serious attack on another man downtown weeks ago.

On Sept. 13 around 11 p.m., officers responded to reports of an assault at the intersection of North St. and Union St. near Faneuil Hall, BPD reported. There, according to the police report, they found a victim lying “in an unconscious state” behind the Sephora at the intersection.

The victim was transported to Massachusetts General Hospital. The police report states he suffered a “serious injury” to the head, but BPD did not provide further information about the victim's condition.

Boston police said in an alert Monday that they were searching for four people suspected of involvement in the attack and battery, releasing photos of four men who appeared to be near the were captured at the crime scene. The police report lists two male suspects and examines whether alcohol consumption was involved.
