Brett Goldstein was thirsty for Jennifer Lopez before casting for “Office Romance”

The actor's fans were thrilled when they learned that he would be appearing alongside Jennifer Lopez in “Office Romance.”

News of the upcoming romantic comedy on Netflix broke on Tuesday when the Hollywood Reporter revealed that the “Ted Lasso” alum will co-write the film's script with Joe Kelly.

Social media users were quick to point out Goldstein's longstanding crush on Lopez, which he frequently expressed on his podcast, “Films to Be Buried With.”

A fan posted a clip on X in which Goldstein raves about the actress' performance in “Shark City” in a July 2018 episode.

“Holy shit. 50!” the comedian exclaimed at the time about Lopez's age. “She's 50. I love her.”

He also expressed jealousy towards one of her female co-stars during a scene in which Lopez hugged her while wearing a fur coat.

“I've never wanted to be cuddled so much,” Goldstein said. “This is one of the best cuddles. … give me one of your special cuddles.”

Another X-user resurfaced a slide from his Instagram story showing the Emmy winner pining after Lopez with heart eyes and gorgeous emojis.

“Never forget that Brett Goldstein loves @JLo,” the fan reminded others. “He said she was his crush and we're now starring in a rom-com together. Way to go, king of manifestations.”

Reddit users also celebrated him. One wrote: “I think she's one of his favorites. I think he's mentioned (on his podcast) more than once that he thinks she's the most beautiful woman in the world. He must be over the moon!”

Another added: “Brett adores Jennifer Lopez so I'm glad he gets to act with the love of his life.”

One Instagram user warned his followers to “be on their guard” as “he has a huge crush on her.”

Lopez, remarkably, has recently become single after filing for divorce from husband Ben Affleck in August following two years of marriage — and months of speculation about a split.

As for Goldstein, his only public romance in 2021 was with actress Beth Rylance.
