Bruins reveal interesting lineup for Rangers matchup

The Boston Bruins will be back on the ice tonight as they take on the New York Rangers in their third preseason game of the year. The Bruins will be hoping for more success against the Rangers this time, as they lost their season opener against the Rangers 3-2 on September 22nd.

The Bruins have announced their roster for the upcoming matchup and there are a few clear players to keep an eye on.

New Bruins defenseman Nikita Zadorov makes his preseason debut with the Bruins for this game. He is expected to play with superstar defenseman Charlie McAvoy. This could be Boston's top pairing to start the year, so Zadorov will look to make a good first impression.

Professional Tryout (PTO) signee Tyler Johnson will play his second preseason game with the Bruins. Johnson looked solid in his first game against the Washington Capitals as he made smart plays with the puck and picked up an assist. Another solid performance would increase his chances of getting a contract for this season.

Bruins superstar David Pastrnak will play his first preseason game of the year this year. Of course, he is always a player that Bruins fans keep an eye on as he is the club's best player and creates numerous scoring opportunities.
