Bundesliga conference live (3.30 p.m.)

Werder Bremen – FC Bayern 0:5

1. FC Heidenheim – SC Freiburg 0:3

Union Berlin – TSG Hoffenheim 2:1

VfL Bochum – Holstein Kiel 2:1

SV Werder Bremen – FC Bayern Munich

Situation: Bayern are travelling to the Weser with a lot of confidence. The 9:2 win against Zagreb in the Champions League gives them additional momentum. But Werder are also in good form and have been unbeaten for eight games across the season.

Statistics: Bayern have won the last 14 Bundesliga games in Bremen. However, the last duel between the two teams went to the Green-Whites. The former Munich player Weiser scored on matchday 18 of last season in a surprising 1-0 victory.

Personal: Werder have to replace three important players: Friedl, Veljkovic and Njinmah. At Bayern, there is still a small question mark over the injured goalkeeper Neuer after the unfortunate collision on the pitch against Zagreb.

s: FC Bayern and Werder Bremen are meeting for the 115th time. It is the record duel in Bundesliga history.

1. FC Heidenheim – SC Freiburg

Situation: Heidenheim and Freiburg started the season with six points each from their first three games. FCH lost their temporary lead in the table last weekend with a 2:4 defeat in Dortmund.

Statistics: Heidenheim is the only one of Freiburg's 41 Bundesliga teams that they have not yet beaten.

Personal: FCH will be without Thomalla, who has recently been ill. Freiburg will have to make do without Röhl, Gulde, Philipp and Gregoritsch.

s: Dinkçi was a key player for Heidenheim last season as a loan from Werder – and recommended himself for a move to SC Freiburg, with whom he has now been re-used.

1. FC Union Berlin – TSG 1899 Hoffenheim

Situation: Hoffenheim desperately needs a winning signal after two defeats. Union is completely satisfied with five points after three games.

Statistics: Four wins for Union, four wins for Hoffenheim and two draws. The clubs' record in the Bundesliga is balanced.

Personal: Volland is back in training at Union, but is not yet able to play. Tousart and Trimmel would be alternatives for Haberer and Schäfer. In addition to the long-term injured, Hoffenheim also has the sick Grillitsch out.

s: Frederik Rönnow, currently the best Bundesliga goalkeeper of the young season with only one goal conceded, is playing his 100th competitive game for the Iron Ones.

VfL Bochum – Holstein Kiel

Situation: Both teams have had a very bad start to the season. After three games, Bochum and Kiel still have zero points. Kiel has already scored three goals, while Bochum has only scored one.

Statistics: It is not surprising that Bochum and Kiel are meeting for the first time in the Bundesliga. In the nine competitive matches between the two clubs so far, neither team has ever won after falling behind.

Personal: Bernardo will continue to be absent from VfL, but Ordets is at least training again. All players at the newly promoted team from Kiel will soon be fit.

s: Since Energie Cottbus in 2000/01, Kiel is the first newly promoted team to lose its first three Bundesliga games. Cottbus was at least able to win its fourth.
