Bundesliga: Bayer Leverkusen – Mysterious appearance in the 2-2 draw against Kiel | sport

Four times in the Bundesliga on Saturday afternoon. Four times pure football.

The conference on the 6th matchday is really impressive – especially because champions Leverkusen surprisingly stumble against newly promoted Kiel.

Here you can find an overview of all parties!

Leverkusen – Kiel 2:2

After the 1-1 draw against Bayern, Leverkusen only managed a 2-2 draw in the anniversary game against newly promoted Kiel after taking a 2-0 lead.

The team of double coach Xabi Alonso (42) – in office for two years today – makes a mistake on the sidelines in their 100th game.

Leverkusen is 2-0 in front. Then the newcomer crashed the party for the 120th anniversary of the factory club and scored through swelling seconds before the break (45th + 5th).

Bayer then completely loses track of things.

And keel turns up. Arp scores the equalizer from the spot after a foul by Frimpong (69').

Things look good at the beginning. Palacios served Boniface. He converted the first attack into the lead and celebrated in the specially made special jersey (4th).

Jonas Hofmann then increased the score a few moments later (8th). His first goal in 2024 and the second assist from Argentina star Palacios.

In the end, Bayer got their second league draw in a row!

Bochum – Wolfsburg 1:3

Referee frustration in Bochum!

Wolfsburg won 3-1 in Bochum in referee Max Burda's Bundesliga premiere. The newcomer on the pipe is unintentionally the focus.

First excitement in minute 19: Wolfsburg's Vranckx receives the shot from Bochum's Boadu on his hand. The referee points to the spot, but then takes the penalty back after a VAR check.

Bochum's coach Peter Zeidler rages on the sidelines and is annoyed.

Then things get even worse from Bochum’s perspective! Wolfsburg's Tiago Tomas scores artistically to make it 1-0 (21st). Shortly before the break, Wind finished off a dream cross from Amoura from close range (37th). After that, Bochum is better, shortened by Boadu (72nd).

Shortly before the end there was another penalty: The game continues for minutes before referee Burda Wolfsburg gives a penalty after a foul by Sissoko on Amoura. At first Drewes holds against the wind, but the Dane sinks the follow-up shot – 3:1 (88th).

Pure Bochum frustration – but despite the defeat, Zeidler can probably continue.

Bremen – Freiburg 0:1

After the 0-0 draw against BVB and the 0-5 draw against Bayern, Werder didn't win in their third home game either. Freiburg wins 1-0 on the Weser.

The Werder Cup winners from 1999, Thomas Schaaf, Ailton, Marco Bode, Viktor Skripnik and Andreas Herzog, are cheering in the stands as lucky charms, but they have no desired effect.
