57th minute: Kane simply takes a shot around 25 meters from the goal. His powerful shot flies down to the left. Stuttgart keeper Nübel (PICTURE note 5) is on it, but can no longer direct the ball around the post. On good days, the Bayern loanee can hold onto this ball.

The 1-0 – and Kane’s first goal after 393 scoreless minutes!

A huge relief for the clipper. And the England captain follows up straight away.

60th minute: In the penalty area, Müller puts down his heel, Kane initially gets stuck with a shot, but then follows up. His second attempt is finally possible. 2-0!

In the 80th minute, Kane scored his third goal. He is the first Bayern player since Robert Lewandowski (36) in September 2015 to score a flawless hat trick. Coman scores the final score (89').

Kane back in form at the perfect time. On Wednesday (9 p.m.) Bayern have a cracking game against Barcelona and former coach Hansi Flick (59) in the Champions League.

With his hat trick, Kane also averted the first mini-crisis under Kompany. After the three winless games against Leverkusen (1:1), Aston Villa (0:1) and Frankfurt (3:3), Bayern remain unusually harmless against Stuttgart.

Then Kane gets going – and decides the game single-handedly.

The only setback: Bayern super talent Aleksandar Pavlovic (20) had to be substituted after just eight minutes with a shoulder injury. The DFB star is threatened with a week-long absence.

While Bayern defends the top of the table, Stuttgart remains in eighth place for the time being.
