Caroline Calloway says she will die in Hurricane Milton

'The worst influencer in the world' Caroline Calloway says she refuses to leave her Florida home in a “mandated evacuation zone” – even though she knows it would probably kill her.

“So if you've been tracking Hurricane Milton, um, I'm going to die,” the controversial Instagram impostor said in a video on Tuesday, a day before the monstrous storm is expected to kill those who refuse to leave.

“It’s supposed to land in the Sarasota-Bradenton area. I'm in Sarasota, I live by the water. It’s a Zone A, mandatory evacuation,” she said.

The 32-year-old, an early influencer who touted workshops that never happened while persuading friends to ghostwrite her popular posts, tried to explain why she refuses to evacuate – even while sharing a video of an official one Alert from Florida that warned those who stayed behind “will die.”

“First of all, I can’t drive. Secondly, the airport is closed,” she said of the chaos of people rushing to take off.

“Third, the last time I was evacuated for a hurricane, I went to my mother's house in Northport because of Hurricane Ian… Her whole street was flooded and we were evacuated by the US military after three days without power or running water,” said she .

“It was very traumatic and that's why I don't want to evacuate to my mother's house because the last time I did that was the worst time ever!”

She then said she was staying home with her cat and prepared by filling the bathtub with “replacement water.”

“We have food, but it's kind of scary…” she said, adding, “I'll keep you updated.”

Immediately afterward, Calloway shared a video in which Tampa Bay Mayor Jane Castor told residents who don't evacuate that “you're going to die.”

The internet starlet later reaffirmed his plans to join

“I will not evacuate because of the hurricane. I live in Sarasota, on the beach, in evacuation zone A,” she said again.

“For more great advice, buy my second book! It's called Elizabeth Wurtzel and Caroline Calloway's Guide to Life. It will come out soon if I survive! It's an advice book 😉 Sweet!!!!!

A self-proclaimed “scammer,” Calloway notoriously defrauded hundreds of fans who paid for “creative workshops” that never happened, spent a six-figure advance on a book deal that never materialized, and sold her own skin care line, shamelessly named “Snake.” Oil”.

The influencer fled her West Village apartment to Florida several years ago after reports surfaced that she owed $40,000 in unpaid rent.

Calloway was also the subject of a bombshell BBC documentary called My Insta Scammer Friend, which revealed the impact of the glamorous scammer's deceptions through interviews with the women who were scammed.
