Celebrity sightings at Kamala Harris' rally in Houston

HOUSTON —Jessica Alba opened the speeches at Kamala Harris' rally with a big “Hello, Houston” in a purple pantsuit, igniting the crowd.

“I don’t know if you know this about me, but I spent a lot of my childhood in Del Rio, Texas,” the actress and entrepreneur said. “But here in Texas, I learned how important it is to look out for your neighbors, to lend a hand without hesitation, and to treat people the way you want to be treated.”

Alba said those values ​​made her who she is today and she feels like Kamala Harris embodies those values.

Willie Nelson took the stage in his signature head scarf and pigtails and first sang, “Mamas, don't let your babies grow up to be cowboys.”

The 91-year-old then strummed, “I can't wait to get back on the road.” He didn't take the podium to say anything, but boy, was the audience wowed by the Texas and music icon.
