Chi-Town Pitties is celebrating its eight-year anniversary of rescuing and advocating for bully breed dogs this weekend. The Bully Bash features food and drink, raffle prizes and music. According to the organizers, well-behaved dogs are allowed on a leash.

Sadie Hawkins Day Style Ride

Saturday, 3 p.m

Palmer Square Park, 2200 N. Kedzie Blvd.

The Sadie Hawkins Day Style Ride, a popular charity bike ride that's part scavenger hunt and part costume party, is back this weekend after an eight-year hiatus. The ride is intended to be a creative, relaxed and inclusive way to support local businesses and bike shops cycling on the North and Northwest Sides. There will also be raffle prizes and an after-party at Richmond's Sports Bar, 2944 W. Grand Ave. at 7 p.m.

Beer walk through Lincoln Avenue and Roscoe Street

Saturday from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m

Along Lincoln Avenue from Belmont to Addison (Route A) or from Diversey to Belmont (Route B) or Roscoe Street from Damen to Western (Route C)

For this Halloween-themed event, more than 20 local businesses along three stretches of Lincoln Avenue and Roscoe Street will transform into craft beer tasting venues. Participating locations include Cubbington's Cabinet, Moondance Chicago, Roost Chicken and Biscuits, Roscoe Village Bikes and The Denim Lounge.

Tickets are $30 in advance and $40 the day of the event. Attendees will receive commemorative beer tasting glasses, a map with event guides and vouchers for local businesses. Find out more, choose a route and buy tickets here.

Arts In The Dark Parade

Saturday from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m

Along State Street from Lake to Van Buren

Now in its 10th year, this evening parade brings together various Chicago cultural organizations, youth programs, artists such as Dee Alexander, J. Ivy and Tim Samuelson, and an audience of 50,000 people. There will be unique floats, puppets and creative performances along the Loop's historic State Street.

Mountainaires: Free garden concert

Sunday from 2:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m

Paradise Garden Logan Square, 2214 N. Drake Ave.

Chicago band The Mountainaires will play a concert at Paradise Garden in Logan Square. Guests should bring their own chair or blanket for seating.
