Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes responds to Travis Kelce's highlight page: 'I shake my head'

The Kansas City Chiefs enter the game week undefeated at 5-0 and begin their three-goal journey with plenty of momentum. The win over the New Orleans Saints brought with it many highlights, but one in particular was Patrick Mahomes comparing his daughter to his All-Pro teammate.

After Monday night's game, Mahomes spoke to the media to explain tight end Travis Kelce's unexpected highlight-reel play.

“I'm shaking my head because I told him before the game, I'm going to throw it to you to get him in field goal range, and he sneakily scooped it all over the field. So it's like I'm talking to Sterling (Mahomes' three-year-old daughter),” Mahomes said. “It’s Travis, man. He’s a special player and as long as he does it and it works, man, nobody’s going to say anything.”

The duo teamed up often throughout the evening, and Kelce finished the game with another productive play. After his slow start, his nine catches for 70 yards further silenced critics who questioned whether the veteran tight end was still interested in playing the game.
