College football scores, games, updates: Tennessee at Oklahoma, Miami at USF and more

The fourth week of the college football season marks the start of conference play for many teams, and given the schedule, expectations should not be disappointed.

Clemson clearly dominated its conference rival NC State early on, scoring 45 points in the first half for an easy win that shows the team can compete alongside Miami at the top of the ACC.

The first few games were also historic. James Madison scored more points in the first half than ever before against North Carolina, winning 70-50 (UNC had never allowed that many points in a half before Saturday). Later, Temple kicker Maddux Trujillo made a 64-yard field goal – the longest kick in 16 years and just one yard shy of Martin Gramatica's record.

The big SEC showdown between Tennessee and Oklahoma is the highlight of the Saturday night games.

Former Oklahoma quarterback and assistant Josh Heupel returns to Norman as the Volunteers' head coach on Saturday night. UT quarterback Nico Iamaleava has become an early Heisman Award favorite with his play so far, and this strong offense will put pressure on Oklahoma quarterback Jackson Arnold to get something going in the passing game.

    The Cowboys finally get some aerial success and get back on the scoreboard after a three-play drive that ends with a 28-yard touchdown pass from Alan Bowman to Brennan Presley.

    This reduces Utah's lead to 22-11 with 5:30 minutes left in the game.

    One play after a Utah interception, Isaac Wilson finds Brant Kuithe on a play-action play for a 45-yard touchdown. The Utes are in the lead on this one.

  • Touch down, Michigan!

    Kalel Mullings storms forward from position one for the fourth attempt and goal!

    With 37 seconds left, the Wolverines take the lead 27:24!

  • Immediately afterwards, Kalel Mullings breaks through tackles and storms 63 yards to bring Michigan into the red zone.
