Colts QB suffers hip injury

Late in the first quarter, Richardson suffered a hit in the red zone that left him holding his left hip. He initially only left the game for a few games. On his first play on the field, he took another hit on a quarterback run and was slow to get back up. The second-year quarterback went to the locker room after leaving the game following a second hard hit.

Indianapolis has already listed Richardson's return as questionable due to a hip injury.

The gunslinger was unlucky with injuries in the early games of his NFL career. During his rookie season in 2023, Richardson suffered a concussion in Week 2 and a season-ending ACL sprain in Week 5.

Richardson went to the locker room in the first quarter against the Steelers after taking a hit on a quarterback run. The exit came two games after a temporary exit following a hit three games earlier that left the second-year gunslinger clutching his hip.
