The Washington Commanders will have starting running back Brian Robinson Jr. on the field for their Week 5 game against the Cleveland Browns. There was speculation that Robinson would play, but now it's confirmed.

NFL insider Tom Pelissero reported the news on social media.

Getting Robinson Jr. for this game is huge for the Commanders as they look to get to 4-1 on the season. Washington has been in good shape lately, winning three straight games after a tough loss in Week 1.

Robinson Jr. has played in all four games for the Commanders this season, rushing for 307 yards and three touchdowns. He missed some training sessions this week due to a knee injury, so there was some concern that he might miss this game.

But he's healed enough to try, and the commanders will be happy to see him return to the field. Robinson Jr. has become one of the most interesting running backs in the NFL and has the ability to dominate games at any time.

He gives Washington's offense additional dynamism and that has worked very well this season. Working with starting quarterback Jayden Daniels has been a winning formula for the Commanders so far and they will look to continue that in Week 5.

It won't be easy facing the Browns, especially with Cleveland likely entering this game with a sense of desperation. Cleveland didn't play particularly well to start the year, going 1-3 through the first four games of the season.

Washington needs to win this game on the offensive side of the ball. Cleveland's defense has been one of the better units in recent years and has picked up steam again this season.

The problems for the Browns lie on offense. So if Washington can dominate offensively, they have a good chance of winning. But the Browns have some players who can wreak havoc on defense, so the Commanders need to be on guard at all times.

Browns star defenseman Myles Garrett can cause all sorts of problems on the field. Washington needs to be careful not to get into the rhythm too early or it could be a long game for them.
