Cris Collinsworth weighs in on the controversial exchange between CeeDee Lamb and Dak Prescott

Following a Dak Prescott Interception thrown in the direction CeeDee Lambthe veteran wideout had words for his quarterback.

The cameras caught Lamb saying something towards Prescott, and based on the body language, it certainly seemed derogatory. The NBC team calling the game showed a replay and opened the exchange.

“It’s hard to explain” Cris Collinsworth said. “Just throw it into the reporting and something is wrong. Ceedee Lamb, in the end I'll let you read your own lips. At Dak. Dak doesn't react at all. Doesn’t look good.”

Added Mike Tirico while standing:

“Not one bit. Not a bit.”

Dallas was already having a rough night before the CeeDee Lamb-Dak Prescott drama and was unable to produce much offensively against Pittsburgh's elite defense. TJ Watts was feasting at the front and Prescott just couldn't do much.

At the time of writing, the Steelers were leading the game 10-6.

Sunday evening's contest was an important game for both teams.

Pittsburgh got off to a 3-1 start and held a half-game lead in the AFC North standings, while Baltimore was just behind at 3-2. The Steelers accomplished this goal by playing excellent defense and limiting opponents' scoring opportunities.

Dallas, meanwhile, had gotten off to a 2-2 start to the season and was already well behind Washington at 4-1. Philadelphia is also currently 2-2, while the New York Giants are in last place in the NFC East standings at 2-3.

Although CeeDee Lamb was healthy, the Cowboys entered the contest hamstrung by injuries, particularly on defense.

Defense ends Micah Parsons And KJ Henry were both inactive for the Sunday Night Football game and then at defensive end Marshawn Kneeland was injured during the competition.
