CSPD searching for suspects after shooting at Atlas Preparatory School, one dead

COLORADO SPRINGS – According to the Colorado Springs Police Department, CSPD responded to Atlas Preparatory School on reports of a shooting in the school parking lot.

According to Atlas Preparatory School, a fight broke out this Saturday between a sports club that rented the school premises. The fight resulted in someone losing their life.

CSPD tells News5 the Homicide Unit has been notified.

According to CSPD, the man who lost his life was 29 years old.

There is currently no suspect information to release.

CSPD says it does not have a suspect in custody.
