Devara's worldwide box office collection. Day 1 Prediction: Bumper opening for Jr NTR after RRR

Jr NTR and Janhvi Kapoor's Devara: Part One hit theaters today, September 27. The film is very popular and has performed excellently in advance sales. It is all set for a glittering global opening with an expected collection in the range of Rs 120-125 crore gross. For Jr NTR, it will be his second biggest launch after the globally acclaimed RRR.

The Koratala Siva-directed film sold around 15.27 lakh tickets in India and grossed Rs 38.84 crore by the end of pre-sales on the first day. As the trading website S. reportsacnilkit collected Rs 54.27 crore gross, including block seats in India. Globally, the film exceeded all expectations and registered a gross of over Rs 85 crore in the final opening day pre-orders, of which around Rs 30 crore gross came from the foreign market alone.

The trade website further reported that Devara has already minted over Rs 90 crore gross in its pre-sales for the opening weekend. The action drama is expected to have solid opening numbers today, enough to register the second-biggest opening of an Indian film in 2024 after Kalki 2898 AD. The 'Prabhas' starrer opened with over Rs 175 crore gross on its first day at the global box office and 'Devara: Part One' will follow close behind.

Produced by Yuvasudha Arts and NTR Arts, the film is receiving mostly positive reviews from the masses and that will help it maintain its performance even after the first weekend. Apart from Jr NTR and Janhvi, Devara also stars Saif Ali Khan, Prakash Raj, Srikanth, Shruti Marathe and Shine Tim Chacko, among others. It was also widely released in the Hindi market.
