Devon Conway's one-handed stunner shows Sarfaraz Khan the door in Bengaluru - Watch

After a defeat on the opening day, the first Test between India and New Zealand in Bengaluru was finally drawn on Thursday, with home team captain Rohit Sharma winning and opting to bat under cloudy skies. The decision backfired as India's top order disintegrated within a very short period of time.
In the 12.4 overs bowled before the first rain stoppage on Thursday, India lost three wickets for just 13 runs as opener Yashasvi Jaiswal struggled to eight in 37 balls while watching his partners fall at the other end , including a stunning catch from Devon Conway at extra cover to send Sarfaraz Khan back for a duck.
Rohit was the first to go, Tim Southee cleared for 2, followed by Virat Kohli, who failed to open his account during his 9-ball stay. He was fired by William O'Rourke.

A stunning move followed, with Conway catching a screamer that dived full-length to his right after Sarfaraz horribly mistimed his walk drive on the upswing against Matt Henry.
The ball appeared to fly past Conway in extra coverage before his outstretched right hand got in the way. India's score at that point was 10 for 3.
It was the second duck of the Indian innings as the team lost three wickets for 10 runs or less at home for the first time since 2010 and only the third time since 1990.
Rishabh Pant (3*) accompanied Jaiswal (8*) when the rain stopped play.
