Diddy once revealed what his final words would be, and the answer hasn't aged well

As Sean “Diddy” Combs' legal troubles continue to intensify, more and more clips of his past interviews are resurfacing and gaining traction, now viewed in a different light. The latest viral clip comes from Diddy's November 2017 appearance on Martha Stewart and Snoop Dogg's VH1 cooking show, where he reveals what his “final words” would be — and the answer hasn't aged well at all.

In the clip from the show titled Martha & Snoop's Potluck Dinner Party, The two hosts play a card game with their guests, which consists of various prompts with an open outcome. The Bad Boy founder reads, “When I die, do I want my last words to be?” and quickly replies, “I did it.” As he looks around the room, people laugh and clap, seeming to accept his answer to make a light-hearted joke.

However, after he was accused of heinous crimes last month, people have an updated perspective on what Diddy may have meant by his response. “This is a confession,” reads one of the most popular comments on the TikTok video. “That hasn't aged well,” one person wrote, while another said, “Well he did well.” Watch the clip below.

On September 16, 2024, the Love album The creator was arrested in NYC and charged with conspiracy to commit racketeering; sex trafficking involving force, fraud, or coercion; and transportation for prostitution. Disturbing details from the court documents accuse Diddy of using his companies to finance and facilitate “freak offs” in which he allegedly drugged his victims and placed them in sexually abusive situations.

In addition to the Potluck dinner party Clip, another recently resurfaced Diddy interview that's been making the rounds, is from Late Night with Conan O'Brien in 2002. During the conversation, the “It's All About the Benjamins” artist details his rules for hosting a party, which included no air conditioning, door locks and more.

“We need AlcoholsCombs says in the clip. “You need some water. I don't know if the guys noticed, but a lot of ladies drink water at parties. So if you don't have what they need, they will leave. I have to keep them there. You need locks on the doors… It's a little kinky, but, you know… rock with me. You need a lot of heat. Don't have air conditioning. Heat affects the alcohol and it also affects everyone feeling a bit more comfortable and loose. It makes a nice little sweat.”
