Donte DiVincenzo punched the Knicks' Tom Thibodeau in the face in the first game since the trade

Just as quickly as the Villanova Boys were assembled, the New York Knicks disbanded them, trading former guard Done DiVincenzo and forward Julius Randle to the Minnesota Timberwolves in exchange for star big man Karl-Anthony Towns.

Apparently, DiVincenzo wasn't ready to let go of the fact that he was traded away from the Knicks. In the preseason game between Minnesota and New York, DiVincenzo chirped on the Knicks' bench, particularly head coach Tom Thibodeau.

Yeah…he doesn't seem happy at all. Even though the trade fell through unexpectedly, I'm sure it caught DiVincenzo off guard. Imagine having all your friends back on the same team for the first time since college and you end up being the first one traded away. That must hurt a little.

I'm all for trash talk. Yes, it's preseason, but it should still be a competition. Keep talking nonsense and making things uncomfortable the next time these two teams play.

I have every confidence that I will be there when these two teams face off in the regular season.
