DWTS pro Peta Murgatroyd is said to have saved Charlie Sheen from stalkers

Here's a story so crazy it's hard to believe. Apparently, Peta Murgatroyd out of Dancing with the stars once had to save Charlie Sheen from a stalker. So she is not only a dancer, but also a bodyguard.

We know that sounds like a plot straight out of a low-budget movie, but Peta's husband, Maksim Chmerkovskiy, swears it's true! He told the story during a recent appearance on the Behind the Velvet Rope with David Yontef podcast, and the whole thing completely amazed us.

Peta Murgatroyd's alleged heroic rescue

According to Maksim, he and Peta were Charlie's neighbors for about three years. One day, Maksim said his wife called him frantically because she heard Charlie calling for help. Around the same time, they knew that Charlie was having problems with someone in the neighborhood.

“I get a call… and she says, 'Hey, Charlie's outside screaming help, help!' What should I do?' I say, 'Boy, you should probably go help.' Look what it is,” recalls Maksim.

A few minutes later, Peta called him back and said that a woman had forced her way into Charlie's house. Allegedly, Peta was caught “biting” Charlie and ripping his shirt off. Then Peta intervened and wrestled with the stalker.

Maksim explained: “She grabbed him, it was terrible. And so Peta said that she had to get physical with this lady. And I was so damn proud of Peta, baby.

Now if you question the legitimacy of Maksim's story, there is a police report that somewhat backs this up. In 2023, TMZ reported that a 47-year-old neighbor broke into Charlie's Malibu home, ripped his shirt and tried to strangle him. That sounds pretty similar to what Maksim described, right?

The report didn't mention Peta showing up and kung fu fighting the intruder, but the lady was arrested for assault and burglary. Then, earlier this year, Peta and Maksim moved out of Malibu earlier this year. This is probably not a coincidence.
