Eagles TE leaves game against Browns

play

PHILADELPHIA – The Eagles' starting offense was reunited in all three games before tight end Dallas Goedert went to the locker room with a hamstring injury.

The Eagles considered his return questionable.

Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts attempted a throw to Goedert on 3rd-and-5 on the first possession. But Browns safety Rodney McLeod stopped the play on the sideline but appeared to collide with Goedert. He went into the medical tent while the Eagles punted and then went to the locker room.

Jack Stoll replaced him to start the next drive.

The Eagles began the game with their starting offense intact for the first time since the season opener on September 6th. Since then, AJ Brown, DeVonta Smith and Lane Johnson have all missed time.

The Browns, meanwhile, lost two players to starting injuries: center Nick Harris, who was sidelined with an ankle injury, and running back Jerome Ford.
