Early voting begins today in Massachusetts. What's on the Cape Cod ballot?

Early voting for the Nov. 5 general election begins this weekend.

According to the Massachusetts Secretary of the Commonwealth, in-person early voting will take place over a 14-day period that includes two weekends. For the Nov. 5 election, that means Cape Codders residents — and everyone else in the state — will be able to vote in person from Saturday, Oct. 19, through Friday, Nov. 1.

All cities and towns are required to offer at least some early voting times, including on these weekends.

The votes in Cape Cod include two races for Congress. One of them is a contest between Democrat Senator Elizabeth Warren and Republican John Deaton. In the other case, U.S. Rep. William Keating, D-Bourne, faces a challenge from Dan Sullivan, R-Plymouth.
