SEATTLE – OM Giants!

The Giants seemingly couldn't have come up with a better start to Sunday's game against the Seahawks, dominating the field in a variety of ways after a good defensive series.

They made it to the goal line, and coach Brian Daboll showed courage when he realized the moment had come for a team looking for some confidence in a difficult spot and decided to go for it on fourth down.

Then there was a catastrophe.

Giants running back Eric Gray fumbled the ball before it broke the plane of the end zone, and the Seahawks recovered the fumble. But wait – it's even worse, as Seattle safety Rayshawn Jenkins picked up the football, broke through to the right side of the field and took the loss all the way to the other end zone for a stunning touchdown. He was credited with a 102-yard fumble return for the score.

The play was upheld upon review, and after a 16-play, 79-yard drive that lasted 10:01, the Giants somehow found themselves down 7-0.
